Size Charts

Uniform Size Chart - Men

HPI Direct provides this size chart for customer convenience. Many garments are based on numeric sizes while some are alpha sized (S, M, L, etc). This chart is designed to assist in converting numeric measurements into alpha sizes. Sizes are based on the body measurements as indicated below. All measurements are in inches unless otherwise noted. All size charts are based on body measurements with normal allowance for ease of movement built into each garment. However, human bodies and shapes differ, thus, these charts are for guidance only. Where practical, it is recommended that each person try on the actual garments to determine proper sizing. If measurements fall between sizes, order the next larger size.

How to Measure...

Mens Size
Measuring - To get accurate body measurements, use a tailor tape ruler or tape measure, keeping the tape taut but not stretched. Measure your body over properly-fitting undergarments while standing erect, without shoes, and with feet approximately 6 inches apart. For consistency, take all measurements from the same side of the body.

Neck - Measure for collar size around neck, just below larynx.

Sleeve - For sleeve length, measure from the center of the back of neck, across shoulders, down to wrist.

Chest - Measure across fullest part of chest, under arms and across shoulder blades. Keep measuring tape straight across back.

Waist - Measure at your natural waistline, where you wear your pants. Keep measuring tape firm, but not tight.

Inseam - Measure inside leg from crotch down to top of shoe.
